Vera June attended the University of Houston in 1996 as a National Achievement Scholar. She graduated with Membership in the Honors College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her tenure at the University of Houston, Vera had the prestigious honor of serving as a Legislative Fellow for Representative Sheila Jackson Lee in Washington DC. in the Fall of 1997. This fostered her interest in governmental law and practice.

Upon graduation, Vera attended law school at Stetson University College of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2004. While attending law school, she received the Public Service Fellowship from the Florida Bar Foundation (2002) and served as a Judicial Intern with the Unified Family Court in Clearwater, Florida.

After receiving her Juris Doctor, Vera practiced as a Guardian ad Litem/Certified Legal Intern with Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid from January 2005 until August 2005. As a Guardian ad Litem, Vera became experienced in motion practice and litigation before the Juvenile Court in dependency cases and in the representation of children in crisis situations. Her work included trial preparation, trial litigation, and client and case management.

In October 2005, Vera joined Stenstrom, Mclntosh, Colbert, Whigham, and Partlow P.A. as a Law Clerk and has since remained with the firm as an Associate practicing in the areas of general civil practice, general civil litigation, collections, contracts, real estate litigation/real estate, foreclosures, wills, and municipal law.

Vera is a founding Board Member of the Seminole County Young Lawyer's Division. She is also a member of the Seminole County Bar Association, the Volie A. Williams Inn of Court, the American Bar Association, and the Florida Bar Association. As a member of the Florida Bar Association she is a member of the Young Lawyers Division, the Trial Lawyers Section, Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section, and the City County and Local Government Law Section.
